METHODOLOGY:

This bill makes nonlapsing appropriations of $15,000,000 in FY 2026 and $15,000,000 in FY 2027 to the Department of Environmental Services for eligible wastewater projects under the state aid grant program.  The actual payback periods, annual payments, and interest rates will vary with each application.  While the bill appropriates the nonlapsing funds in the coming biennium, the state aid grant payments for the projects will be over twenty years or more.
